01做形容词

足够的，充分的：

通常修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词，且多放在名词之前。

They had enough moneyto live in comfort in their retirement.

他们有足够的钱在退休后过上舒适的生活。

We don't have enough booksso you'll have to share.

我们的书不够，所以你们得一起看。

One always has time enough, if one will apply it well.

如果好好利用，人的时间总是足够的。

There was food enoughfor all.

食物足够所有人吃了。

02做副词

足够地，充分地：

当enough用作副词必须放在被修饰的形容词，副词或动词之后。

I can't thank you enoughfor your kindness.

我对你的好意感激不尽。

A long life may not be good enough, but a good life is long enough.

长命百岁不见得生活得够好，但美好生活（再短也）就足够长了。

He speaks English well enoughto pass for a British.

他英语流利的使人以为他是英国人。

The ice in the lake is not thick enough to walk on.

湖里的冰不够厚，不能在上面走。

He was careful enough to check up every detail.

他很仔细地检查了每一个细节。

03做代词

足够；充足：

Enoughis enough.

够了;行了;要适可而止。

I've heard enough of your excuses.

我听够了你的借口。

注意：enough后经常跟动词不定式。
